The key to success

Our ego thinks that if we work harder and harder, skip lunches and hours of sleep, cancel friends catch up and family time...we will be more successful.

It couldn’t be more wrong!

Our moments of rest are actually where our inspiration comes from.

Allowing ourselves to be creative or playful sparks joy in us and motivates us.

Taking 30 minutes to walk in nature clears our mind and boosts our energy level.

So when we are taking the time to rest, play and create, we are actually setting ourselves up for success.

Being successful starts with a calm nervous system.

And having a calm nervous system starts with honouring our needs.

As human beings we all have needs. We need connection, rest, food and shelter, we need to create, to express ourselves, we need to sometimes move and other times sit still...

And as we listen deep to our needs and nurture all of who we are - body, mind and soul - we have already become successful.

And from that place, success unfolds naturally in our reality.

What is success anyway?

Society would have us think that success is having a big house, an expensive car, a fancy job, 2.5 kids and a dog.

I don’t believe that.

Success is a feeling.

Success is waking up with a smile on my face feeling life force moving through my body.

Success is living with integrity, accepting our reality for what it is and consciously working and creating from a place of Love.

Success is choosing myself in every moment, knowing that I am worthy of my dreams and powerful enough to create them.

Success is appreciating every little moment of Love, wether it be smelling a rose on my way to work or enjoying a warm embrace from a loved one.

Success is being in gratitude and awe for this life so rich, so full of colours and flavours.

Success is Love.

And that starts with loving ourselves.
